My Story
Hey, y'all! My name is Ny'Asia McKinstry and this is my creation. I truly hope it feels like a community, in that each of you can relate and see yourself in some way or another. It is my prayer that my lessons, experiences and testimonies encourage, inspire, empower and/or uplift you on your life journey.
I am a proud follower of Jesus Christ, a certified early childhood special educator, behavior therapist, literacy enthusiast, writer, and (now) blogger. Sister, friend, traveler, listening ear, and aspiring counseling psychologist. Certified food lover, ultimate thrift shopper, avid bike rider and longtime doubledutch queen.
I love to cook, go on adventures, spend time with the people I love, and alone in nature. It is most often in the solitude and stillness of the outdoors that God speaks to me. My love for people and togetherness led me to create this space. May it serve as a window offering you new perspectives; and a mirror reflecting your beautiful life!
Our Story
We All People was birthed from my call to release reflections and testimonies from the past 7+ years of my life. In my lowest moments, I used writing as a therapeutic release of emotions, thoughts, and fears. In my highest moments, I used it as a tool of reflection and gratitude.
As life was life-ing, I often felt so alone that I'd turn only to God in full transparency. Guilt, shame, and fear were so stifling that I couldn’t bring myself to truly lean on my tribe. In my solitude, I found inspiration and revelation of God's presence in nature.
With the gradual release of unseasonal people, mindsets and ways, I began to open up about my truths. To my surprise, I wasn’t the only one going through! As I listened to others, I realized that almost everyone had|was|would experience many of the same issues in different ways. In sharing our truths, we are able to overcome. It is for this reason that We All People was created.
Who WE Are
We All People is a faith-based community designed to reflect the oneness of WE, the people. Created in His image, we are ALL called to be reflections of our heavenly father. Though He is revealed through us in different ways, we are still ONE. No matter where we come from, how we look, sound, feel or think:
WE ALL PEOPLE!
This space serves to illuminate that reality. While your story is uniquely yours, know that it is not the first nor the last of its kind. Our life experiences serve as mirrors and windows through which others may see themselves and be strengthened. This community serves the same purpose. A community of reflection and release, we are a safe haven for ALL to be encouraged, inspired, empowered and uplifted.
What WE Believe
We know that someone, somewhere has gone through; is now going through; or will go through the same season as us. We believe that, just as God's Holy Spirit comforts us in our times of trouble, we are called to comfort others (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Knowing this truth strengthens and assures us that we are not alone. We All People!
We know that life won't always be peachy, just because we believe in God. Seasons will come and seasons will go. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us: To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. No matter what season we are in, we know that it will last but for a while. We have faith that God's hand is in each of our circumstances and that He has a purpose for everything.
Our Foundational Truths
- We believe the Holy Bible is God's divinely inspired word.
- We believe in the power of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to anchor us and bring everlasting peace, love, and salvation.
- We believe that we are ONE body, created for the purpose of bringing glory and honor to our heavenly father.
- We believe that as we love each other and unify in His name, we will conquer EVERYthing that comes against us.
